It has to be said… 2011 has been an amazing year! We have had the pleasure of sharing so many of our client’s stories both through video and other avenues. So for our annual holiday video this year, instead of sharing stories of our own, we decided to share with you a taste of what we’ve been so fortunate to work on this past year. Hirshfield’s is helping bring color to Japan
Local paint manufacturer and retailer, Hirshfield’s, has been selling paint to Japanese retailers for over eight years now. Sales have seen a big boost in the last few months due to post-tsunami rebuilding and changing tastes. Jason Boedigheimer, operations director for Hirshfield’s Paint Manufacturing, says orders to Japan have easily increased 100 fold since the March tsunami. Hirshfield’s Partners with Second Harvest Nov. 10-28

Hirshfield’s Hosts Paint Sale to Benefit Local Food Shelves
Holidays are times for giving, and Hirshfield’s is doing just that with a paint sale to benefit local food shelves. From now through Nov. 24, customers will receive a 20 percent discount on Hirshfield’s brand interior paints with every non-perishable food donation. Hirshfield’s will then work in partnership with Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger-relief organization, to distribute the food to those in need.
Customers can drop off their food donations at any of Hirshfield’s 25 locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. Suggested food items include canned vegetables and fruit, boxed meals, soup, rice, instant potatoes, pasta, sauces, pet food and personal hygiene products.
