Edina Public Schools Are Getting Into Video
This morning I stepped back in time. Okay, it wasn’t actually back in time so much as a personal flashback to a time when I was much younger than I am now. Chad and I spent the first part of our day going back to high school. We were shooting a video that highlights the extra-curricular activities and clubs offered to students through the Edina Public School system. Today’s focus was on athletics and student clubs at the high school level. This video is the third out of three that we’ve produced over the last several months for EPS.
The first featured the districts elementary schools. It focuses on overall academics as well as the districts’ French immersion program and another program called Continuous Progress, where kids complete grades 1-5 with the same class and the same two teachers. Check out the video here.
The second video we completed for EPS focused on the middle schools. We talked with several students as well as some parents and teachers. The middle school video really focuses on the rigor of academics and what the middle school community does to help incoming elementary students transition easily. Click here to watch the video.
We hope to have the high school activities video done in the next couple of weeks and I’ll be sure and share when it’s complete.
We’ve also got another great project in the works with EPS. It’s a potential video series that I’m pretty excited about and it’ll get back to my roots of producing in more of a news-style. I’ll be sure to share more on that as the project moves forward.
