Pazazz! Video Works Like Magic
For those of you who have already been subjected to this video by yours truly, bear with me. About a year ago to the date, my wife showed me this video which was sent to her by a colleague. At the time there were about 100 views or so of this piece produced by Pazazz Printing, a Montreal based commercial printer. I had no idea what to expect of this, what seemed to be, corporate video about a printing company. What it has turned out to be is probably more than anyone could have ever imagined! › Continue reading
Online Video for Marketing and PR: Ready or Not, It’s Here!
Kicking around the internet on what has to be one of the coolest sites on the web, alltop.com, I came across an interesting piece on e-commerce video. Yes, video production is one of the things we do at StoryTeller, but what made me jump out of my seat is the information that is laid out in the blog - online video is about to explode!
How to Make Video Profiles for Award Ceremonies Work For You
In late summer of 2004, I found myself with an extremely expensive editing system and not a single client that could help me start paying for my new investment. Desperate for just about any work, the stars aligned and I found myself in a conversation with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. They were interested in producing a handful of videos for their annual athletics “Hall of Fame” banquet. StoryTeller Productions was in business!

As we evaluated our services and capabilities, as a media relations and video services agency, we are in a unique position to deliver even more value to our clients. With that, I’m excited to introduce our three newest services.
Base Jumping with Wing Suits
When I started StoryTeller my mantra was “don’t look down.” To this day I still mumble those words to myself, especially in this whacked out economy. Maybe that’s what turned me on to this video. Plus, as a former diver, I’ve got something about jumping off things…at least I did 25 years ago.
This is a video my 9 year old son picked off Vimeo. If you’re a thrill seeker, you’ll get a kick out of this. If you don’t like risk…you’ll be floored. In a sentence: Crazy guys in Norway jumping off cliffs like flying squirrels. Should I be concerned that my son watched this and said, “I want to do that!?”

Minnesota Section PGA Professional Larry Nelson Passes Away at Age 49
Earlier today we learned of the passing of PGA Professional Larry Nelson. Larry was in a car accident February 23rd, 2007 and was subsequently diagnosed with brain cancer. He underwent surgery in March of ‘07 and battled cancer for nearly two years. Larry was well respected by his peers in the Minnesota Section and, if you met him or received lessons from him, you probably enjoyed his company.
Tips for Healthy Business Practices in ‘09
The promise of a new year brings new opportunity and a chance to start anew. And after 2008, who isn’t looking for a chance to start again? Then again, it’s generally believed that 2009 won’t exactly be a walk in the park and many economists predict this recession will get worse before it gets better.
Winter Cycling Safety Tips and Equipment
If you have the good fortune of experiencing all four glorious seasons, as we do here in Minnesota, you may enjoy frolicking in the snow, but commuting by bicycle in it can often be a different story. Sure, gas prices are down, but in the event you didn’t notice, the economy is in the tank. So, for some of us…we ride. It’s chilly, but we still ride.
