MINNESOTA PGA SECTION ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT, JEFF DRIMEL

November 3, 2008 — The Professional Golf Association, Minnesota Section (MNPGA) recently announced Jeff Drimel as its new president.

Previously the executive vice president of the Section, Drimel is the head golf professional at the Medina Golf & Country Club, where he oversees the club’s golf operations and Junior Golf Program, which has more than 200 participants. Prior to that, he was the head golf professional at Apple Creek County Club in Bismarck, N.D., and the assistant golf professional at the Toledo Country Club in Toledo, Ohio.

Drimel has been a member of the PGA of America since 1987 and has served on the Minnesota Section Board of Directors for three terms. In 2006, he received the MNPGA’s President’s Plaque Award, given to those who help grow the game of golf, and in 2003 he was awarded the Bill Straughsbaugh Award for service to the Section. › Continue reading
